Four dogs including 2 puppies died in hot car while woman eats lunch at the beach

In New Smyrna Beach, Florida a woman was arrested on Thursday after four dogs, including two puppies, died in a hot car while the woman ate lunch at a restaurant. Tesia White, 25, from Gainesville, Missouri, faces four charges of felony animal cruelty.

According to FoxNews, New Smyrna Beach Police stated a four-year-old Goldendoodle, a two-year-old Boxer and two 12-week-old Goldendoodle puppies died. White had been visiting the area and claimed she left the air-conditioning on in the vehicle with the windows closed, and had checked on the dogs once. An hour later, when White returned to her car, the dogs had died. Police stated the air-conditioning had been turned off.

White is being held at the Volusia County Jail where she is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.
