Patrick the Chihuahua, a nine-year-old blind and deaf pooch, had been abandoned by his heartless owner. His long list of health problems made it very difficult to find a new home, but fortunately Dallas Pets Alive and their helpers were there to help this sweet little guy.

Through social media and the rescue organization’s contacts, a couple from Baltimore fell in love with Patrick and offered him a “furever” home, but the challenge was getting him there. That’s when Jonathan, one of the flight attendants for Southwest Airlines, stepped in to help. Jonathan used his time and flight benefits to fly Patrick from DAL to BWI and help unite him with his new family.

Southwest Airlines has made many adoptions possible by allowing homeless pets to fly with them! The rescue that took Patrick, Good Old Tails Senior Animal Rescue , has partnered with Dallas Pets Alive to save others. Please check out this little rescue…
