In Margo Junction, Ohio, the brave firefighters from the Margo Junction Fire Department rescued Puff, the Saint Bernard who accidentally fell down the basement steps after suffering a seizure.

According to Wtov9News, Puff’s owner, Bobbie Jo, had been folding laundry when her dog had a seizure in front of the basement door and fell down the steps. Puff, who weighs 250 pounds tumbled down the entire flight of stairs. Bobbie Jo panicked and thought for a moment the fall had killed her beloved pet and screamed for her grandson’s help.

Fortunately, Puff survived the fall, but continued to have seizures throughout the night. When the dog seemed to have been feeling better the next morning, and his owner tried to coax him up the stairs, Puff just wasn’t haven’t any of it and was just too scared to leave. He was too heavy and strong for Bobbie Jo to pick up.

And so the firefighters from the Margo Junction Fire Department arrived to help, and within 15 minutes, these awesome rescuers arrived and started to formulate their plan to save Puff. They wrapped Puff in a tarp and then were able to lift him to safety. Puff was then taken to the family veterinarian for an examination.

Bobbie Jo just couldn’t say enough praise for the rescuers of the Margo Junction Fire Department, nor can we. Many thanks to our heroes – see there are angels who roam our world and bring forth lots of love and kindness.
