A senior Labrador retriever mix named Princess is listed as an “extremely urgent medical” case at the Carson animal services facility in California. The 12-year-old dog has been at the facility since May 19 – she was taken in at the shelter after the death of her owner.
The Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page writes:
Princess is a sweet spunky senior who doesn’t know she has a huge subcutaneous tumor on the left side of her body. Princess tumor is too large for surgical removal at this time. “Her Prognosis is fair to guarded”
