An elderly dog is at risk of being put down after her owner surrendered her to a Texas animal control agency. The Chihuahua, Chiquita, is reported to be 19 years of age and she is being held at a San Antonio animal shelter.
On Sunday, the SAPA Urgents & Adoptables Facebook page posted a photo of Chiquita, and shared the danger that she faces:
THIS DOG IS IN ACS KENNELS & AT RISK OF BEING KILLED. SHELTER EVALUATES SPACE AT: 9:30am Mon-Sat, and again at 5pm Mon-Fri & 3pm Sat, or at any time as space is needed.
