Wrentham, Mass. – Dogs inside of a stolen dog daycare van have been found safe. The Wrentham Police Department had asked the public to be on the lookout for the van, with two dogs inside, on Tuesday, writing a post to the department’s Facebook page:

STOLEN VAN WITH DOGS INSIDE. PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT

This van was stolen in Wrentham a couple of hours ago.

Advising where the van was last seen, and what should be done if it was spotted:

The van was last spotted driving erratically on Rt. 495 SB near 95 SB. May be headed toward Providence RI. If seen, please call 911 and report it to the law enforcement agency that answers in that area.

Though there were grave fears that the erratic driving might lead to a crash, or that the thief might harm the dogs in the van, the situation ended well with both the van and the dogs, being found safe.

People following the situation on social media expressed relief.
