Daybreak needs a break: Pup is shy and scared and could use help finding a family to love

Two weeks ago, Daybreak was dropped off at the Nassau County Animal Services in Yulee, Florida. He is extremely shy and frightened but gentle, and could use some help finding a family with patience to help him come out of his shell.

He is three-years-old and weighs 42 pounds. His beautiful red coat has white highlights and he wants to be noticed, but too afraid at the same time.

Check out his video; he remains in the corner shivering in fright.

Daybreak is going to need a patient owner who is willing to give him some TLC and time to decompress and adjust to his new home.

Here’s another video – a bit braver and sits up, but nevertheless needs a special person to help him.

Shelter hours: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 11 -4, Wednesday 1 – 6, Saturday 11 – 3.
