Whoa! In Araphoe County, Colorado, a horse escaped from a nearby field and was spotted by motorists trotting down South Parker Road near East Broncos Parkway on Saturday. An deputy with the mounted police division was quick to lend a hand.
According to the Araphoe County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, 911 dispatchers received the call; responding Deputy Sebold, an officer with the Mounted Patrol Unit, was able to jump on the horse’s back and ride it to safety.
The cowboy cop responded to the call, wrangled the horse, jumped on its back and rode it to safety. The horse was in ‘stable’ condition.
