A badly neglected German shepherd was recently surrendered by his owner to a Texas animal control agency, and now he is at risk of being put down. The dog, named Rocky, is listed as three years of age, but his poor state of health makes him appear to be much older.
On Tuesday, the SAPA Urgents & Adoptables Facebook page outlined the danger that Rocky is in:
THIS DOG IS IN ACS KENNELS & AT RISK OF BEING KILLED. SHELTER EVALUATES SPACE AT: 9:30 am Mon-Sat, and again at 5 pm Mon-Fri & 3pm Sat, or at any time as space is needed.

More Info: I was surrendered by my owner and am currently at San Antonio Animal Care Services. If you still believe you may be my owner please make arrangements to pick me up as soon as possible by 2 pm on 04/19/2022. I will need confirmed adoption, foster or rescue placement by 10 am on 04/20/2022.
