A unique dog, with striking blue eyes and a beautiful smile, has been at a busy California animal shelter for months. Now, after all this time, she has been put on “notice,” which means her time is running out. The three-year-old dog, named Phoebe, is at the Los Angeles County Animal Care facility (Downey) and she has been there since early March.
Yesterday, her advocate explained the seriousness of her situation:
Phoebe received 72 hour notice… the shelter has so many beautiful dogs that could make fantastic loving loyal pets…..
Phoebe is one of the most gorgeous and unique dogs at Downey that is now urgent….. who may not make it out of the shelter. There are no fosters, adopters and rescues are full.
