This week, a rescue agency in California received a plea for help after a dog breeder decided to dump six German shepherd pups at a busy animal shelter. On Thursday, Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles posted a photo of the frightened puppies, explaining the situation:

We got a text asking for our help. 6 German Shepherd puppies were being dropped off at an animal shelter by the breeder. The animal shelter had no room, and they were afraid the puppies would be dumped in an orchard!

Fortunately for the puppies, the rescue agency quickly texted the animal shelter staff and let them know that they would “figure something out.” So the puppies are safe.

Westside German Shepherd Rescue is going to ensure that the puppies are safe and they will make sure that they get the veterinary care that they need. You can help support the rescue agency by making a donation at this link to the rescue group’s Facebook page.
