Back in November, a year-old pup dubbed Lola was tossed from a van. Thanks to a good Samaritan, the pup was not left to roam on the dangerous streets of California, but she was taken to an animal shelter where she continues to wait for someone to come and take her home.

The Agoura Animal Care Center writes:

Our hearts break for 1 year old Lola #A5451837 who is extremely timid, unsure of engaging with humans and being leashed. She will occasionally, cautiously approach for a quick sniff but paces constantly when in a room with a handler unable to settle. She’s happiest when being walked and with other dogs, playing chase is a favorite activity.

Describing where Lola would thrive:

Lola will need a patient family who can help her to feel safe. An adult home is recommended though younger children may be considered. A calm dog companion who can act as her mentor would be ideal.

Will you please help this castaway pup find a real home, with someone who would never consider throwing her away? Her adoption profile can be found at this link.
