A woman in Clark County, Wisconsin, is facing charges for abandoning a puppy whose front legs had been zip-tied together. As reported by WQOW News, the woman accused of the cruel act is identified as Jill Warminski, of Thorp.
In late October, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office posted a photo of the pup, writing:
On October 26, 2020 around 4pm, this dog was found next to the bridge on Pine Road west of Birch Ave, township of Thorp. This dog’s front legs were bound together with a black zip tie causing severe lacerations to the legs. The dog appeared weak and skinny and was taken to an animal rescue representative from the local area for further care.
Warminski admitted that she committed the act, and claimed that she, and her children, were unable to care for the puppy. She is facing a felony charge for animal mistreatment. The puppy’s brother is missing and Warminski is accused of lying to investigators about him.
