In Cairo, New York, a woman has been arrested by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office after having been accused of stabbing and trying to decapitate her dog with a sword.

According to a press release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Pauline Waldron, 67, faces one count of aggravated felony cruelty to animals. The dog was stabbed several times after she attempted to sever its head off. Then Waldron allegedly waited eight hours until the dog was given life saving treatment at the Catskill Animal Hospital who notified authorities of the dog’s condition.

The  female Australian cattle dog is reported to be recovering at an undisclosed location.

Five other dogs which include two more Australian cattle dogs and three Jack Russell terriers in her home were removed. Waldron has since been freed from jail.

  1. Sounds like you’re in good hands you poor dear and I pray God’s hand of Healing finds you as they help you recover. I sure hope officials are as interested in punishing this demon spawned ass wipe as they usually are in New York. If this vile thug has mental problems, I hope she’s forced to get help as a part of their demands for her punishment. THIS is unacceptable as NO LIVING BEING deserves to be literally TORTURED until almost dead…..PERIOD!
