A 24-year-old Houston, Texas, woman is facing charges after she accidentally shot her son while trying to kill a neighbor’s puppy who had escaped from home. According to multiple sources, Angelia Mia Vargas was shooting at her neighbor’s six-month-old boxer when one of the bullets ricocheted and hit her five-year-old son.
According to MSN, the incident took place on the afternoon of May 29 and resulted in her son suffering a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The puppy, named Bruno, suffered “graze wounds” and is doing okay. Bruno’s owner was chasing after the pup when Vargas opened fire with a pistol.
Vargas is charged with deadly conduct discharge with a firearm; her son is in stable condition at a hospital.

Clearly a nasty person in every way…….. I would go after her for my furbaby’s vet bills and the trauma of seeing my furbaby (who I was trying to catch) shot in front of me……..
I hope she gets community service and jail time for her actions……. I do not understand how anyone could shoot their own small child?????
I also don’t understand why she didn’t help her neighbor catch the puppy?????
We have moved several times and three times it was due to the neighbors……
We had a garage rock band that liked to practice @ 2am weeknights.
We had a dog poisoner on the loose who poisoned our rescued dogs (who were inside our house 99.99% of the time).
We had a neighbor whose adult son had 3 huge dogs that would chew through the fence and chase me and our senior rescues around our backyard…… he thought it was hilarious……. I didn’t…….
If it were me, I would prefer to move. I would not want to be anywhere near this POS……..
