Wichita Animal Shelter nearly full as five scared dogs whose owner died face critical crisis

The Wichita Animal Shelter has listed 30 dogs for humane euthanasia as conditions become dangerously overcrowded. Sadly, the dogs who have been at the shelter for the longest period of time will be the first ones pulled to be put to sleep if additional kennels are needed for new intakes.

“Wichita is facing a critical crisis. More innocent lives at stake the past time dogs are in extreme danger of EUTH. Final deadlines will be issued soon. The city shelter is FULL, humane society is FULL. Rescues are FULL. Please SHARE and open your hearts and homes to foster or adopt and help save them.”

There are five dogs – young pups and two babies at the city shelter in danger of being euthanized. Their owner died, and these bonded dogs have been separated and have no idea what has happened to them. Their are terrified, confused, and their videos tell their heartbreaking stories. The dogs in the same hall have been able to see each other hopefully not for the last time; sadly the two scared pups are in a different hall.

This is one of the boys who is so terrified, he just doesn’t know where to hide. He has been coughing and may have kennel cough – that will put him in the front of the line to be euthanized.
