A Good Samaritan arrived at a local supermarket in a rural Texas town on Thursday when she spotted an almost bald, starving stray puppy covered in mange. Sadly, soft hearts can’t pay veterinarian bills, and since the kind person could not afford to care for a sick puppy, she posted out to social media for help.
Fortunately, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC stepped up to help the puppym now named Remi; the pup was rushed for medical care. The puppy arrived at the emergency veterinarian hospital where he is being treated for his cracked, infected and hairless body. He continues to be treated with medicated baths and pain relieving medicines.
Remi remains on intravenous fluids as he was completely dehydrated.
