There is a happy resolution to a lost dog situation in San Antonio, Texas. Otto, a dog who slipped away from a veterinary hospital where he had just had a leg amputated, has been found.

Otto was discovered approximately six miles from where he vanished. Despite just having major surgery, he managed to cover a lot of ground, trekking between where he was lost, and a golf course miles away. The person who spotted Otto followed the instructions which had been issued – not to try and catch him, but to call and provide photos to verify that it was the right dog.

Though Otto was gone for days, he is now safely back with his family! Great work to all who took part in bringing this escape artist back home.
