Unimaginable cruelty as once carefree and happy dog set on fire

In Tunica County, Mississippi, until Friday afternoon, a friendly country dog named Buddy lived a carefree and happy life. He loved everyone he met, his tail wagged in delight at each new adventure and according to neighbors, Buddy was the sweetest dog – never a threat to anyone.

And then the most unimaginable cruelty occurred later that same afternoon. Someone or several sick individuals set Buddy on fire. He returned to his home with an extension cord around his neck and his face was black and the fur burned and charred.

The Tate County Sheriff’s Department has an active investigation and is trying to determine exactly what happened and what caused these horrific injuries to this gentle dog.  The Tunica Humane Society was asked to help and quickly stepped up to rush Buddy to the emergency veterinarian hospital.

“Sadly, Buddy’s prognosis isn’t good right now. If this dog can recover, he will have a long, long road ahead. His face is so swollen from the burns, his eyes are not visible at the moment. Dr. Lisa says he will likely have to undergo surgery, if his eyes can be saved at all. He is likely to have damage to his nasal cavity that could require another surgery. All of the burnt flesh on his face will be peeling off in the days to come. And his body can become consumed with infection from all of the trauma. Hopefully, Buddy can bounce back from all of this but not without all of our prayers,” the organization posted on their social media page.

If you would like to help with Buddy’s medical care, a small donation would be greatly appreciated by the Tunica Humane Society. They are going to do everything they can to save this precious dog, regardless of the cost.

  1. Do NOT get your hopes up, as this happened in a demon spawned state that pats their ‘good ole white supremacist evangelical demons’ on the back when they do something like this. These are the SAME thugs who TORTURED many slaves to the point of maiming and slowly killing them for the SLIGHTEST infractions. I’m from the Southeast and a story was passed down to me about my step monster’s dad (from Tupelo, MS) whipping a 9 year old ‘slave girl’ until DEAD for dropping an EGG on the floor, ONE EGG cost her a painful beat down until dead. Why was I told that? It was to remind ME of what HE was capable of if I dared to disobey him. I was 7 years old. Yeah, don’t get your hopes up that ANYTHING will be done here. THESE demons dine on HATE and VIOLENCE DAILY.

  2. Someone knows who did this……. serial killers “practice on helpless animals and gradually graduate to people, helpless kids, elderly then adults”……. whoever did this should be locked up forever…….
