Two murderous monkeys have been captured in India. As reported by the New York Post, two of the monkeys believed to be involved in the killing of an estimated 250 puppies in Lavool Village were caught by a Nagpur Forest Department team in Beed.

Villagers in the area claim that the monkeys have sought revenge on dogs after a pack of canines killed an infant monkey not long ago. The rampaging monkeys have been carrying puppies to the tops of buildings and other “high places” and either leaving them there to starve or dropping them to their deaths.

Villagers who have tried to intervene have been subjected to monkey attacks as well.

The captured monkeys were not killed – instead, officials moved them to a forest near Nagpur.
