A dog rescued from an abusive home, three long years ago, continues to wait for a family to call his own. The six-year-old pit bull, named Brock, is being cared for by the Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation – on Wednesday, the rescue group wrote:

Brock is still waiting! Please share him & help him find his forever home 🙏

Years ago, when Brock was rescued, he was malnourished and had no access to food or water in the yard where he was kept. His former owner, Leslie Guadamus, was charged with animal cruelty and ultimately faced fines and probation because of his mistreatment of Brock.

Brock was nursed back to health, but his forever home has remained elusive.

In February, the rescue provided some insight to his demeanor, writing:

He is a sweet boy and defends his home, but no cats. He loves kids and most dogs.

Gina Vlasek, a spokesperson for the rescue group, told WSVN News, “He just turned into this amazing couch potato, silly dog.”

Will you please share Brock’s story and help him find a home? He has waited far too long already. You can complete an application at this link to the rescue group’s website.
