A dog named Troy is languishing in a Florida boarding facility. His face, showing that of utter rejection, reflects his hopelessness. Days ago, Rescue Me Miami posted Troy’s poignant image, explaining his sad situation:

The face of rejection. Thousands of shares when he was at MDAS and the only foster offer bailed. Now the rescue is paying $25 a day to board him in a facility that does not resemble the shelter because he deserves better.

Troy has been through training, and he “passed with flying colors.” He is also dog friendly. Troy deserves a chance – he deserves better than a boarding facility – he deserves to be loved.

Adopting Troy

Rescue Me Miami has outlined what needs to be done to get Troy into a home:

My heart breaks for this poor boy who paid his dues and deserves to be loved 💔 If there’s anyone out there who agrees and has room in their heart and home to at least foster, please contact

Bell’s Promise Animal Rescue, Inc. 501c3

He’s 5 years old and weighs 66lbs. Neutered and vetted.
