A Texas man can look forward to jail time for the next two years following his sentence for an animal cruelty crime involving abuse of his girlfriend’s dog. On Wednesday, the Office of Constable Alan Rosen, Harris County Constable Precinct 1 issued a release about the cruelty conviction of 21-year-old Roberto Martinez.
The agency detailed the abuse case, writing:
Roberto Martinez, 21, has been sentenced to two years in state jail for animal cruelty, exactly two years to the day after he was accused of beating his girlfriend’s dog.
The incident occurred in the 4200 block of Freeman on March 30, 2019. A witness observed Martinez repeatedly kicking the dog. The dog was tethered in the backyard and Martinez was wearing boots. The witness always saw Martinez take off a boot and hit the dog in the face.
The dog who suffered from Martinez’s abuse had a poor body score of just 2 on a scale of one to nine. The authorities offered up a warning to animal abusers, writing:
Animal Cruelty is a crime and this sentence is proof that those who hurt or neglect animals will face punishment.

May Karma find Roberto Martinez with an attack while in prison, where HE is KICKED repeatedly until ALL HIS ribs are BROKEN, then his LEGS jumped on repeatedly until BROKEN. Eye for an eye, you VILE DEMON spawned THUG! Do it again, and I pray Karma finds HIS face SLASHED with knife until all that PRETTY is GONE! PERIOD!
