A terrified shepherd mix tries to hide in the corner of her kennel at the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter. She came into the shelter on September 15, 2021 as a stray.

Her advocate is asking for help:

“It’s horrible to see them just sitting there like this. Volunteer at your local shelter to just even sit with them or pass out treats. They need you. We need more treats for dogs like this. If you can send some, our wish list link is below. It’s really helps them come to the front of the kennel and learn to trust. Plus they only eat once a day so the appreciate it. Available to be fixed and assessed the 19th so please keep an eye on the website if you’re interested. PLEASE SHARE TO HELP.

  1. Poor sweet dog looks cold. Why is there no blanket or bed for that dog to lie on in that kennel? I volunteer at a local shelter and they always have something for the dog. I hope he’s adopted soon.
