At Roswell Animal Control in New Mexico, an eight-month-old puppy cowers in the corner of his shelter cage. The male German shepherd mix with his black and brown coat was found on the 400 block of S. Evergreen on April 28, 2021 as a stray. No one has come to the shelter to claim him.
The shelter staff has named the 28-pound puppy Caspian, and he waits in Cage 6; on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, this terrified puppy will be available for adoption.
The Roswell Urgent Animals at Animal Control Facebook group page is maintained by volunteers and administered by Friends of Roswell Animals, a 501c3 organization. Dogs in need of foster and adoptive homes are shared, and it is hoped approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media groups can help Caspian. Sharing saves lives.
