The dog described as the “sweetest dog at the shelter,” has been waiting for months to be noticed and adopted. The 10-year-old German shepherd, named Chapo, has been at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California, since August. Despite his sweet demeanor, nobody has chosen him to be their new companion.

On Tuesday morning, the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page posted a video of Chapo, writing:

CHAPO is the sweetest guy in the shelter and this senior needs some help after coming in as a stray. Please SHARE for his life, he’s SUCH a beauty and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save him. Thanks!

Adding:

I love this senior boy! He just wants to play ball 🎾🎾 and have some snacks. Chapo is ok for public adoption. He is tolerant with other dogs and has a gentle-dainty play style. Calm Dogs Required, High School Children and Up Recommended.

Will you please help this sweet, senior dog find a home to live in for rest of his days? Networking saves lives!
