An arthritic, older shepherd finds himself in need of rescue from a busy California animal control agency. The nine-year-old German shepherd, named Belvedere, has been at the Carson Animal Services facility since May 10 – and though he has a microchip, nobody has come forward to claim him as their own.

The Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page writes:

This sweet senior came in as a stray and has a chip. He has some issues when he walks and looks like he needs some tlc. He is recommended to go to a home with adults only due to his arthritis and him being sensitive to be touched. He is gentle/ Dainty and is Tolerant of the large dogs. Please SHARE for his life, he’s SO special and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save him. Thanks!

Will you please help Belvedere find the help that he needs? Information to adopt or rescue is provided below.
