A seemingly perfect dog, described as “sweet and lovable,” is in danger of losing her life. The five-year-old bulldog mix, named Nina, was surrendered to the BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions facility on January 27, and now she is getting sick and her life is in danger.
Houston Underdogs writes:
Nina’s owners left her behind at BARC on 1/27. We don’t know why they did or how she’s still at the shelter, because she sounds like the perfect catch! Nina is sweet, love able, and enjoys both people’s and dog’s company!

Temperament test
From the shelter:
Nina came out the kennel with no issues. When outside to meet A1562139, she had a relaxed body, low wagging tail, and soft mouth. A1562139 was forward and went to sniff her. Nina sniffed back and when they got close i called her over to me. She came over and her tail wagged faster. A1562139 took this moment to sniff her again. She looked over to him and went at a normal speed so sniff him back. Tempt test ended.
Sweet Nina didn’t ask to lose her home and family, and she didn’t try to get sick. She most certainly doesn’t deserve to die because of things that are completely outside of her control. Please share Nina’s adoption information to help her find the help she needs. Time is of the essence.
