Surrendered puppies shiver in fear at Houston area shelter and have few options left

Rex wants to be anywhere but at the Harris County Pet Resource Center. Both puppies are only seven-months old and their owner surrendered them because they were too old.

“Rex is so scared, he can’t stop shaking. You can hear how loud it is inside the shelter…what dog wouldn’t be scared? Rex is just a puppy and he was surrendered with his brother, Sammy (A580058—has his own video), because they were TOO OLD. What?? They’re puppies! And terrified at that. We hope someone gives this baby a legit chance.”

Sammy is also trying to figure out how best to hide because he’s absolutely terrified out of his mind. He was surrendered with his brother, Rex (A580056) Sammy and Rex are kenneled together, but Rex is on the other side of the doggy door (they can get to each other). Sammy needs someone to take him far away from this place and quietly reassure him that everything will be okay.
