Someone abandoned two neglected puppies, stuffed inside of a suitcase, alongside a road in Kentucky. On Monday, the Christian County Humane Society posted an image of the two pups, and explained how they were found. The shelter writes:
FOUND: two pups. These little ones were found on the side of a country road in a suitcase !!!!!!!!!!!!
Describing the suitcase the puppies were being held in:
It was a navy blue Sorrento suitcase.
The pups were taken to the shelter’s veterinarian for care. They are being treated for scabies and worms.
The animal welfare agency thanked the good Samaritan who took action after spotting the suitcase:
Thanks to the guy who saw the suitcase last night, and his family who called us for help.
And criticized whoever neglected and abandoned the pups:
We really can’t write what we’d like to about the person(s) who abandoned these babies and let them get into this shape. Those words just might burn up your computer screen. We never know what the next call will be. Please keep theses pups in your thoughts and prayers.

Too bad the POS former owner never heard of taking puppies to a vet clinic for “well puppy” care…… if he had a clue, his puppies would have been very healthy!!!
Many years ago we adopted 2 puppies and the day after we got them home, they had their first vet visit. There was a whole schedule of vaccinations, micro chipping, deworming and desexing ahead for them (they passionately hated the vet throughout their entire lives)……..
