A somber, senior dog, listed as “special needs” on his Petharbor listing for California’s Riverside County Animal Control, is waiting to be saved. The eight-year-old dog, dubbed Logan, has been at the animal control facility since March 2.
On March 17, the Saving Riverside Shelter Dogs Facebook page posted a video of Logan, and wrote:
Meet Logan. Aww, this sweet old man has stolen our hearts. When we first met 8 year old Logan, a kind shelter employee was bringing him back to his kennel after recovery from surgery (shelter vet removed all his masses). Logan slowly & somberly walked with his head hung low as he was gently guided through the building. Logan has sad, sullen eyes & is surely wondering how he ended up in the shelter.
While at the facility, Logan underwent surgery to have multiple masses removed from his body. Now he needs a loving home to recover and thrive in.
