Authorities in Fort Wayne, Indiana, are seeking information about who is responsible for the death of an emaciated puppy who was found discarded in a dumpster. As reported by WPTA News, the skeletal body of the deceased pup was found this week in a dumpster at an apartment complex located at 2130 Hobson Road.
According to the news agency, animal control officers learned that the puppy’s body was in a dumpster at the Baldwin Creek apartment complex on Tuesday morning. It is surmised that the pup, estimated to be between six and 12 months of age, had been confined to a crate for “long periods of time” before it died and was thrown away.

The puppy is described as a tri-color pit bull mix. Anyone with information is asked to call 427-1244 or 449-3000.
