In Cape Coral, Florida four Dalmatian puppies remain missing after two were found late last week near Marco Island – nearly 60 miles from where the family who owns the dogs live. No one knows why the two puppies were left near a kayak launch, but two kayakers reported the abandoned puppies to the police.

According to NbcNews2, the six puppies had been stolen from the living room of their home. Mercedes Fernandez stated when she went to bed last Wednesday evening before midnight, the five-week-old puppies were sleeping soundly in their playpen. Mercedes settled in for the night in the bedroom accompanied by the mother of the puppies, two-year-old Pepper. When she awoke the next morning, the puppies were gone. Pepper never stopped searching for her puppies.

The Cape Coral Police were not able to find any signs of a break-in, however this isn’t the first time puppies have been stolen in the Cape Coral area. Just three days earlier, five pit bull puppies and their mother had been stolen from a home in the southern part of the city. Police think the cases are related.

The two recovered puppies have been returned to their owner.

I feel very sorry for the dogs and their families.

Some POS is stealing these young babies for the Christmas gift season, which is very disgusting……

I hope the babies are found ASAP and returned to their families…..
