Back in June, two German shepherds were surrendered by their family. The reason? The family was moving and Crystal and Simba were not part of the plan. Fast forward to September 8 – the bonded dogs continue to wait for someone to choose them from the South Los Angeles Animal Care Center in California.

Shelter staff describes the duo as sweet and affectionate, and they note that they are “extremely bonded.” How sad would it be if the dogs were to be adopted to separate homes? Sadder still, if nobody came forward at all and they were put down – just because their owners moved away and didn’t make plans for the dogs who should have been part of their family.

You can lend Crystal and Simba a hand by sharing their adoption information. Networking is known to save lives! Somewhere out there is the perfect home for these bonded friends; it just needs to be found.
