At a Mobil gas station in Baytown, Texas, a German shepherd was dumped out of his family’s red truck. As the red truck waited for the traffic light to change to green, the dog ran to the truck and stood on his back legs begging to let him back into the truck.

Fortunately, Good Samaritans watched and videoed the disturbing situation, and best of all were able to find the dog and took him into their care. The kind people also have a pug and have been doing slow introductions.

“The shelter was not accepting intakes and that pickup truck driver obviously didn’t want their dog back.”

The couple have taken the dog to their veterinarian for a checkup and have named him Thor. They are most likely adopting him. It they decide not to adopt him, two of their friends have already stepped forward and offered. The rescuers are not asking for any donations and are capable of paying for Thor’s care.

We can all hope that all dogs thrown away as if they were yesterday’s trash are as lucky as Thor.

Many thanks to the kind people.
