A dog in Rockford, Illinois, is desperately in need of help. The five-year-old pooch, named Samson, is described as a “sweet man,” who suffers from anxiety because of an abusive past.

On Friday, the Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary posted a photo of Samson, explaining the homeless dog’s distress:

I am very scared in the kennel, and confused after being brought to a shelter for the second time in my life by the same person. I am looking for someone who won’t give up on me.

Describing Samson’s ideal home:

I would ideally like a home where I’m not alone a lot or could even go with you to work! Somewhere I will get lots of love and playtime! I do well with kids, other dogs and I even lived with two cats. I’m potty trained and an all around good boy.

Will you please help Samson by sharing his story? He deserves to live with someone who won’t give up on him. Find the Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary Facebook page at this link.
