At 17 years of age, a dog described as the “best dog anyone could ever have” was surrendered by his family. On Friday, Chester County Dog Tails posted an image of the now homeless dog, writing:

“Best dog anyone could have.” That is how was described before being surrendered to the ACCT Philly shelter
He seems shell shocked and sad Bronx is looking for a place to rest his head during his golden years. He lived with other dogs, and is described as good natured and well behaved.

This well-behaved old boy is at ACCT Philly.

Chester County Dog Tails writes:

Bronx is at

  1. I am always shocked that senior dogs are dumped into a shelter when they need their families most (after being a loving, devoted member of the family for their entire life)……

Honestly do these people think that there are long lines of potential adopters for senior pets???

It breaks my heart to think of these wonderful precious treasures being euthanized alone and unloved at the shelter……..

I hope this precious treasure Bronx is rehomed into a loving furever family where he will be treated as a beloved family member for the remainder of his life…….

Our furbabies are family!!! We have them with us from adoption date to their last breaths…….
