At the Norco Animal Shelter in California, Mocha needs help. The tiny male, poodle mix is estimated to be three-years-old, but has no lower jaw and appears to have a limited or no use of his hind legs according to his posture in the photo.

The shelter staff have included the following observation and notes – hopefully to help Mocha find a rescue organization:

“Mocha is a sweet boy. Mocha does not have a bottom jaw or any teeth. That does not inconvenience him at all, he is doing really well and eats wet food. Although we do not have a way to give a good estimate on his age, he is an adult dog possibly over 6 years old. His availability date is subject to change due to treatments and check up.
Although , some of our dogs test well with other dogs at the shelter, the Norco Animal Shelter highly recommends that you bring along any dog you may have at home for meet and greet to assess the animals in a neutral environment.”
