A senior dog, taken in as a stray at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California, finds herself in need of assistance. The eight-year-old dog, name unknown, has a microchip, but the chip was never registered.

According to the volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, the homeless senior has bad teeth and a skin condition. The page writes:

She was brought in with really bad teeth and a skin condition. They found a microchip but they said it was never registered. Please SHARE for her life, she’s SO precious and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save her. Thanks!

  1. The chip company knows where that micro chip # was sold too. Someone is lying. And when the chip is sold it registers who sold it. I know this for a fact because I know someone that works for a chip manufacturer. They must by law keep track of every single chip.
