At the Harris County Pets shelter in Texas, a 13-year-old Labrador retriever is in need of a new home. Sweet Riley was found in the zip code 77493 on August 16, 2021, and her microchip led her to her family, but then the saddest moments of this senior’s life occurred; Riley’s family no longer wanted her.

“How could you just give up this sweet girl who gave all her love and loyalty? She deserves so much better than this. Riley needs a soft bed for her old bones and lots of gentle pets.”
