In Escondido, California, the San Diego Humane Society is asking for the public’s help finding the responsible person(s) who abandoned a small puppy in a dumpster in the Escondido. The tiny white Chihuahua was lethargic when discovered on April 28 and was rushed to a veterinary hospital.

According to the rescue organization, the six-week-old puppy was found wrapped in a towel and left in a dumpster at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Rock Springs Road.

Veterinarians determined the puppy had fluid in his lungs which prevented him from receiving oxygen. His body temperature and blood glucose levels were too low to even register. Veterinarians decided the puppy had no quality of life and humane euthanasia was the only option.

A $1,000 reward has been offered by Crime Stoppers. Call 888.580.8477 or sdcirmestopper.org. A $1,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the crime.

If you see something, say something. Call the San Diego Humane Society at 619.299.7012.

I am heartbroken for this precious little treasure. He deserved to be someone’s treasured companion and a beloved member of the family…… He was only 6 weeks old. He had his whole life ahead of him. Whoever had him neglected an infection that could have been treated at early onset……. This precious little treasure had his life stolen through this neglect. He never had a chance to be a puppy, to play, to live, to love and be loved…… It makes me sick inside to think of his suffering……..

Whilst I am very sad he passed away, I am very glad that he was in loving care for his last few hours of life. He didn’t die alone, in horrible pain, afraid & (worst of all), unloved in the garbage dumpster……

Precious little treasure, I know that you are absolutely in Heaven. Please look for MacKitty and join his wonderful snuggle buddies group and RIP amongst loving friends.

The disgusting POS who abandoned this precious little treasure has earned himself a spot in the hottest part of Hell to burn forever for his cruelty…..
