Rottie returned as quickly as he was adopted because he wouldn’t jump into car

At Miami-Dade Animal Services, a three-year-old Rottie mix was returned on Tuesday as quickly as he was adopted. Peter had just been neutered and as his new owners dragged him outside, they unsuccessfully tried to pull him up by the leash and into their SUV – trying to force him into the vehicle. Sadly, Peter had just been neutered, and obviously was in no mood to jump.

And instead of waiting and helping Peter, the dog’s new family walked him back into the shelter.

“PETER NEEDS HELP ASAP – HE IS A GOOD BOY – HE CAME IN WITH ANOTHER DOG THAT WAS ADOPTED- TODAY A FAMILY WAS GOING TO ADOPT HIM AND WAS PULLING HIM – (ALMOST CHOKING HIM) TO GET HIM IN THE CAR WITH HIS CONE ON- HE DIDN’T WANT TO GO WITH THIS / LOUD FAMILY AND THEY DECIDED TO BRING HIM BACK INSIDE THE SHELTER. PETER WAS UPSET AFTER THIS ORDEAL AND WASN’T HAPPY ABOUT GOING BACK INTO HIS KENNEL SO NOW STAFF WANT HIM GONE,” a shelter volunteer wrote on social media hoping to help Peter find a calm family who will adopt him.

PetHarbor listing:

  1. Peter KNOWS these demons will be abusive to him. It seems clear to me as well when a HUMAN BEING has NO compassion for a dog that just got his testicles CUT OFF! This shelter WILL REGRET it if they allow these demons to adopt ANY animals. PERIOD! Mark my words…..any animal that’s allowed to go home with them will end up either beaten to death or starved to death. Pukes in Florida seem to REALLY enjoy STARVING ALL their animals.

  2. The adopters did this precious treasure a favor by returning him. They showed they had ZERO compassion for their furbaby who had just had surgery……. Heaven forbid he gets sick…… they would have probably euthanized him or abandoned him instead of paying for his vet bills…..

Let’s hope that he gets adopted by another family who will treat him with compassion and as a beloved family member……

  3. ARE THEY INSANE?! WOULD THEY JUMP INTO A CAR RIGHT AFTER A SURGERY?! I HOPE THEY TRY!

PLEASE FIND PETER A HUMAN BEING WITH A BRAIN AND HEART INSTEAD OF BRICKS!

AND PLEASE DO IT FAST BECAUSE THIS IS A HIGH KILL SHELTER!
