At the Clayton County Animal Control in Ellenwood, Georgia, “Rocky” waits for someone with patience and love to help him. Since August, the five-year-old German shepherd blend has been waiting for that special person to come into his life.
His advocates describe Rocky as shaky and quite standoffish, however he allows handling, likes to be petted, gets along with other dogs and just needs out of the shelter environment.
Check out his video:

Please share Rocky’s plight with friends, family, social media contacts and approved rescue organizations. For sure, Rocky would be a lot better out of the shelter, and we all look forward to his freedom photos.
And in case you need some encouragement, here’s a post from someone who just adopted a very shy pup from this very shelter:
Cari *****
Adopted from your shelter last week, and my puppy was shaking and timid just like this, but after 2 days she started getting comfortable and today marks a week of being with us and she’s too comfortable lol. All that to say, please adopt! Show these babies a loving home they deserve.”
