A reward is being offered in a case of animal cruelty which took place in Vance County, North Carolina. On February 18, the Friends of Vance County Animal Shelter posted images of the deceased dogs, and recounted what is known about the horrible situation:
On February 17, 2021 Vance County Animal Services responded to a call to the 600 block area of Pool Rock Road to a call regarding two canines in crates on the side of the road. Upon arrival the responding Officer found both canines that looked to be dumped on the side of the road to be deceased.
Both of the deceased dogs were male – the animal welfare page writes:
One canine was white and black found in a small wire crate that was covered with a black tarp. The other canine was a brown brindle and found in a light tan dog crate.
Reward for information
Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone that has information regarding the canines that leads to an arrest and conviction. Please contact Vance County Animal Services via phone or Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society via Facebook or email with any serious inquiries only regarding the canines.
