Just days ago, a rescued greyhound celebrated his birthday in style, and we don’t mean with just a pointy birthday hat and a doggy cake. This time, the woman who adopted the senior pooch was allowed to fly in business class with his owner on a Singapore Airlines flight from Melbourne to Italy.

According to Greyt Greys Rescue, the flight from Victoria, Australia was nearly empty, and Lewis the dog certainly enjoyed the experience and opportunity to be pampered.

“One of our graduate snoots, Lewis, has started a new chapter in his life. He and his mum, moved to Italy last weekend. Amazingly, Lewis was able to fly in the cabin with her. Lewis’s mum saved up big, for a Business Class flight with Singapore Airlines. They let Lewis fly in the cabin, as the flight was almost empty. Lewis made himself at home and was fine for the flights! No crying and no accidents. The flight crew said he was the best dog they’ve EVER had including fully trained service dogs. Lewis celebrated his birthday on the plane and was totally spoiled by the staff.”

We think all dogs should be pampered and thank Singapore Airlines and their crew for Lewis’ royal treatment. You guys rock!
