On Thursday afternoon, a rescue agency issued a plea for help on behalf of a young, purebred dog who is in danger of being put down. The non-profit, A Good Dog Rescue, posted a photo of the 18-month-old Weimaraner, explaining:

Urgent: I’m a Purebred Weimaraner 18 months young. I’m neutered and vaccinated. I’m house trained and my parents are going to kill me if I don’t find a home. I’m dog friendly and need a family that will love and care for me.

In the comments on the post, the rescue group states that the dog’s owner has already schedule the appointment for their dog to be euthanized.

  1. He’s absolutely gorgeous!!!

My husband loves Weimaraners and Dalmations!!!

If he were in Washington state, he’s ours!!!

I hope someone local can foster him. He’s still a puppy……

    I wish I could…….

  2. What on earth could this dog have done to make them want to kill him? Please somebody save this handsome boy, he doesn’t deserve this! I would also like to know who would agree to schedule to euthanize a healthy 18 month old dog!
