A Mississippi-based rescue group is hoping to find someone willing to take in a sweet 13-year-old dog named Pumpkin. The Grassroots Animal Rescue writes:
At 22 lbs, Pumpkin is the perfect size for snuggling in your lap! Pumpkin is 13 years young, with no health problems and plenty of life and love left. If you have ever considered giving a senior dog your heart, now’s your chance.
Pumpkin lost her home when her former owner got married and decided to downsize the number of pets they had.
The rescue agency describes the senior dog’s favorite pastimes:
She also enjoys sunbathing and snacking. Pumpkin has a medium length coat that needs minimal brushing and no grooming, so she’s a low maintenance gal. She can’t see very well at night, but no matter; Pumpkin prefers to spend her nights snuggled up to you.
Will you please help Pumpkin find a quiet, loving home to spend the rest of her life in? You can email [email protected] with questions or to inquire about adoption.
Current location: A foster home in Starkville, MS
