A rescue group is trying to save a senior golden retriever, who was dropped off by his family at a Tennessee veterinary clinic. According to the Last Chance Pet Rescue, the dog’s owner asked the veterinary staff to euthanize him.
The group writes:
HELP! This sweet senior Golden Retriever boy was dropped off at a local vet’s clinic to be euthanized. Odd situation, we are all just trying to help this dog.
The dog is believed to be 8 to 10 years of age – the agency said that he is “thin and has skin issues.” Outlining what is needed:
Very sweet, scared dog. We need an approved foster home to step up and get this boy into a home where he can rest in comfort. All vetting is taken care of.
