It’s only fair we tell you about a “really cool dog” named Alex who has yet to find his home out of the Downey Animal Care shelter. Who would ever think this boy publicly available for adoption has been at the shelter since January 22, 2021?

My name is Alex and I am described as a neutered male, white Siberian Husky. The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old. I have been at the shelter since Jan 22, 2021. ID#A5402511.
Alex is a handsome 59-pound Siberian Husky with a thick white coat and fit frame. According to the volunteers and staff at the shelter, he is nicely mannered, waits patiently and sits for treats. He is extremely engaging as he wags his tail eagerly.
“He engages you and wags his tail. My favorite thing is his swooshing tail, that is his attention getter, for you to interact with him. It waves like the flag, on a windy day, from one side to the next, non stop.Alex, is a sensational #huskylovers dream dog. For a person who has a open heart to bonding to a great dog that is active, smart and is into playing and being with people only. He is a catch for someone, that just wants one great dog in their life. Please help him find his forever family.
He is sweet and playful and does a happy dance in his kennel when you come to take him out. Alex walks great on a leash. No other dogs required at this time. High school aged children and up recommended.
