Months ago, an adorable boxer mix puppy was surrendered to the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh, New York. The puppy, named Butchy, is adored by staff and volunteers at the shelter facility, but he has some special needs for his new adoptive home, so he sits and waits.

The shelter stated:

We hate that he is still here and hope his ideal home comes along soon. He is on the search for an adult only, solo dog home. (We know, bummer). This guy is absolutely stunning, regal, and his buddies here at the shelter adore him.

Butchy’s need for an adult, “only-dog” home is making things a bit more complicated, but surely there is someone out there who has the perfect situation for this pup.
